Nomination and Application Deadlines

International offices of partner institutions can nominate students any time during the year via email to: erasmus@fuds.si. Nominations are also accepted via the on-line nomination form.

Once the nomination is accepted, the student must submit the application form by the set deadlines. The application form with instructions is sent via email to all candidates.

Implementation of the Study Process (Erasmus+, Ceepus, etc.)

The study process for Incoming Exchange Students at the School of Advanced Social Studies (SASS) is designed for flexibility and accessibility. It is conducted in English and is primarily delivered online, with an option for some sessions to be held in person at the faculty.

Flexible Learning Across Locations

We ensure equal access for all. Certain English lectures or tutorials taking place on-site in Nova Gorica will always be available online for all students, including those attending the programme at the Ljubljana location. This hybrid model provides the best of both worlds for our Incoming Exchange Students SASS.

Course Selection and Language Support

We encourage all incoming students to select courses taught in English whenever possible. If an Incoming Exchange Student chooses courses taught exclusively in Slovenian, we provide dedicated online consultations in English (2 sessions per course – 2 x 3 academic hours). Furthermore, incoming students who wish to additionally attend lectures in Slovenian together with local students are warmly invited and welcome. Students must choose courses that are offered at the same level of study as at their home university/faculty.

Mandatory Attendance and Support Tools

All incoming students will receive necessary information and access to all study platforms and tools at the beginning of the semester to effectively follow their studies.

  • Study+ Package: Our Incoming Exchange Students also have access to the Study+ package, which allows them to follow the entire study process remotely and access recordings of lectures and tutorials.
  • First Lecture: Attendance at the first lecture of each selected course is mandatory for all students. Professors present key information about the course structure during this session.
  • Obligations: During the first lecture, every incoming exchange student must personally introduce themselves to the professor, inform them of their exchange status, and inquire about their specific obligations and mandatory attendance requirements.

All information regarding the implementation of individual courses is available in the course list below.
