Erasmus+

Erasmus+ is an EU programme that promotes creative and international cooperation in the field of education and training. It is intended for teaching and professional staff, as it enables them to gain valuable international experience, exchange innovative practices, and develop professional, career, and personal competences. Types of Mobility and Participating Institutions

For teaching mobility, participating higher education institutions must hold an ECHE (Erasmus Charter for Higher Education) and have an inter-institutional agreement signed with SASS (the list of institutions is available above). The duration of mobility ranges from 2 days to 2 months. An additional requirement for teaching mobility is a minimum of 8 teaching hours per week; for mobility lasting longer than one week, the number of hours increases proportionally. Key documents.

Grant and Financial Support

Financial support for staff mobility is provided through a European Union grant, which significantly reduces the costs of international training and development. This grant covers travel expenses and costs directly related to participants’ stay during the activity. To ensure fairness and transparency, the travel contribution is calculated using a special distance calculator, available at the link below. The amounts of individual support are determined according to the host country, allowing for accurate budget planning (see the attached table).
