Psychosocial Support for Students and Staff

Since 1 February 2024, the SASS Psychosocial Counselling Service has been available at the School of Advanced Social Studies (SASS), offering free, confidential, and professional support. We are here to help you face a wide range of challenges related to mental health, interpersonal relationships, stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, and other similar difficulties. The counselling service is intended for individuals who wish to overcome their struggles and receive high-quality psychosocial support.

The SASS Psychosocial Counselling Service is available to all students and staff who are facing various personal or professional challenges. Whether you are dealing with study-related issues, personal difficulties, relationship challenges, or simply feel the need for a confidential conversation, we are here to offer professional and comprehensive support. Our goal is to provide a safe and encouraging environment for your wellbeing and personal growth.

We support you in managing anxiety, low mood, mood swings, low self-esteem, sleep difficulties, and other emotional challenges. We provide a safe space for conversation and for finding meaningful solutions.

We offer support with challenges in family, partner, or friendship relationships. We help you improve communication skills, resolve conflicts, and overcome feelings of loneliness.

We will equip you with professional techniques for effectively managing stress, preventing burnout, and strengthening your resilience to pressure. You will learn to recognize the signs and respond to them.

We offer support with study-related difficulties (procrastination, concentration problems, time management, exam anxiety) and with finding professional motivation. We help you develop strategies for more effective learning and career planning.
