Building on a long-standing tradition, it brings together researchers to address contemporary social challenges, intercultural cooperation, and the integration of science into practice.

The Annual Conference of the School of Advanced Social Studies
GLOBAL SOCIAL NEXUS is an international, interdisciplinary conference that brings together scholars, researchers, and practitioners from across the social sciences to explore contemporary social challenges through dialogue, integration, and critical inquiry in diverse and intercultural contexts.
Building on a long-standing tradition of social science scholarship, the conference provides a platform for interdisciplinary and intercultural exchange across fields such as sociology, political science, psychosocial counselling, media and communication studies, social policy, and related disciplines. The conference welcomes theoretical, empirical, and practice-oriented contributions that address social phenomena across cultural, national, and societal boundaries, bridging research, policy, and lived experience.
GLOBAL SOCIAL NEXUS aims to foster meaningful connections between disciplines, methodologies, and cultures, encouraging innovative approaches to understanding social change, power relations, wellbeing, communication, governance, and intercultural dialogue in a globalized world.
