Continuation of Studies After Interruption (Students Without Active Status)

Have you interrupted your studies and wish to complete them? SASS offers a straightforward process for re-enrolment and the determination of your individual obligations, helping you quickly return to the path of successful completion.

Procedure and price list for continuing studies after interruption

Students who have interrupted their studies for various reasons and wish to continue (and do not currently have student status) must first send an email to komisije@fuds.si so that the Student Office can grant them access to the Web Office. Once access is enabled, they must log into the Web Office and, under the section Applications and Requests, submit the Request for continuation of studies after interruption.

An important exception applies to students who only need to complete their final thesis in order to graduate – these students are not required to submit the Request for continuation of studies after interruption.

After receiving the request, the faculty, together with the Head of School, reviews the case and determines the student’s obligations for continuing or completing their studies. The student then receives a formal decision via email. After the decision is issued, access to Moodle is also granted.

Students who do not progress regularly through the programme may be assigned different study obligations for completing their studies than those defined at the time of enrolment, as the study programme may change or be updated in the meantime. This means that students may be required to complete new courses, while previously completed courses may or may not be recognised.

Students without student status (pavzerji) must pay the exam fee before taking the exam (the invoice is sent by email 1–2 days before the exam). The fee includes up to three attempts at the exam. The cost of each course is determined based on the number of ECTS credits. You can view the price list here.

Special offer for the 2025/26 academic year: students without status receive a 10% discount on the payment of individual study obligations.
