Strategic Communication and Management (PhD)

The Doctoral programme in Strategic Communication and Management is a three-year study programme intended for all who are interested in a more in-depth understanding of the processes of leadership, decision-making, influencing, strategic management, and modern communication challenges in an interconnected world.

What Do You Gain from the Doctoral Programme in Strategic Communication and Management?

The doctoral programme enables you to develop your own scientific pathway at the intersection of communication studies and management. You will gain an in-depth understanding of contemporary communication and managerial challenges, and develop competences for research, strategic thinking, and effective action in dynamic environments.

The programme is based on independent research under the guidance of a mentor and includes a proposal seminar, a dissertation seminar, as well as core and elective courses. Upon completion, you obtain the title Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

The programme also offers opportunities to connect with national and international experts, participate in projects, and publish scientific contributions.

An in-depth understanding of communication theories, public opinion, political and crisis communication, strategic management, organisational culture, and leadership.

The programme supports the development of practical research approaches, the integration of theory and practice, and the ability to address real-world challenges in authentic environments.

Lectures take place at weekends (Fridays and Saturdays), with the option to follow the programme through the Study+ package, which includes access to recordings and the possibility of taking exams online.
