Tutoring
Through the SASS tutoring system, we provide comprehensive support to students at every stage of their studies.
What Is Tutoring and What Is Its Purpose?
Do you need support with your studies? The School of Advanced Social Studies (SASS) has a well-developed tutoring system that helps you resolve even your biggest dilemmas and answer questions related to your studies.
Tutoring is defined as the systematic provision of support to students in their studies and academic development. The purpose of the system is to offer you comprehensive assistance throughout your studies, guide you through academic challenges, and encourage your active participation in extracurricular activities.
The purpose of the tutoring system at SASS is to:
- support students throughout their studies
- increase student progression to higher years
- provide guidance in shaping the elective part of the curriculum
- organise and offer assistance in studying individual courses or in completing professional practice
- encourage participation in extracurricular activities
The SASS tutoring system includes key individuals who provide guidance and support throughout your studies:
- Vice-Dean responsible for tutoring: Lecturer Emil Karajić
- Tutoring Coordinator: BA in Pedagogy, Andreja Slejko Rojc
Every first-year student is assigned a tutor. You will meet your tutor at the beginning of the academic year, and you can remain in contact with them throughout your studies. The full list of teacher tutors and student tutors is available at the bottom of this page.
Your tutor is there to support you throughout your studies. You can contact them at any time during the study process when you need help with your studies or when you have questions about the curriculum, exams, or other general matters related to your studies or academic progress. You can reach out via e-mail or arrange an in-person meeting.

Head of the Career Centre and Internship Coordinator
Trust is the foundation, support is the pathway.
At the School of Advanced Social Studies, I lead the Career Centre, where I support students in career planning, skills development, and their first steps into the labour market. I provide guidance, connect students with opportunities, and create platforms for collaboration with employers. I also organise events, workshops, and practical training sessions. My role is to build a bridge between students, alumni, and the professional environment and to help them confidently shape their career paths.
