Research Interests
Her research focuses on media literacy, media habits, digital inclusion, and communication studies in the context of contemporary media. She is engaged in the design and implementation of empirical research, applying both quantitative and qualitative research methods, as well as data analysis and interpretation. Her work pays particular attention to the impact of media and digital technologies on different social groups, especially vulnerable populations.
Curriculum
Anja Bratoš graduated from the Faculty of Media in Ljubljana and obtained her master’s degree from the School of Advanced Social Studies in Nova Gorica, where she is employed in research and serves as a Teaching Assistant in the field of Communication Studies.
Her academic and research activities focus on media literacy, media habits, digital inclusion, and broader communication aspects of the contemporary media landscape. Within the Media Literacy Infrastructure Programme, she contributes to the design and implementation of empirical research, data processing and interpretation, and the development of research data repositories. She has also participated in the Jean Monnet Module – Media Literacy for Active Citizenship and the MELI RESIST (Media Literacy for Resistance against Fake News, Disinformation and Misinformation) project.
In addition to her research activities, she is involved in teaching within the field of Communication Studies. She also contributes to the organisation and moderation of academic events and supports initiatives that strengthen collaboration among students, alumni, and the wider academic community.
