Project Focus

The project (JR MLADI 2025–2026), co-funded by the Ministry of Digital Transformation, focuses on comprehensively strengthening the digital competencies and inclusion of children and young people who fall below the EU average in these skills. The goal is to enhance the ability of youth to use digital technologies in a safe, responsible, and psychosocially balanced manner. The program, covering topics such as coding, robotics, AI, and digital security, promotes critical thinking and interest in future STEM careers.

Project description

The project is a joint educational program of three partner institutions (FIŠ, FUDŠ, and Razvojni center Novo mesto d.o.o.), designed for the comprehensive development of digital competencies among young people. The program includes a variety of content—from programming, robotics, and the use of digital tools to artificial intelligence and the safe, responsible, and psychosocially balanced use of technology. #digiSI

Project main aim

  • Develop young people’s digital skills in a systematic and age-appropriate manner.
  • Promote critical thinking, teamwork, and digital security.
  • Increase interest in technical and scientific professions of the future.
  • Strengthen the responsible and safe use of digital technologies and psychosocial balance in the digital environment.

Results / Activities

The project is implemented in several modules tailored to primary school pupils, secondary school pupils, and young adults:

  • FIŠ: 17 educational programs in the field of programming and computer technologies in practice.
  • Razvojni center Novo mesto d.o.o.: one program focusing on robotics and fun programming.
  • FUDŠ: two programs focused on the safe and responsible use of digital technologies and psychosocial aspects.
