Smernice
Research in Social Change je nova mednarodna revija, ki jo izdaja Fakulteta za uporabne družbene študije v Novi Gorici. Gre za multidisciplinarno revijo, ki objavlja prispevke izključno v angleškem jeziku. Publikacija vključuje prispevke s področja družboslovnih znanosti in humanistike. Njihov namen je teoretsko in praktično prikazati aplikativnost ter uporabnost družboslovnih znanosti. Ker je področje družboslovja in humanistike obsežno, RSC objavlja predvsem tematsko zaokrožene revije, ki obravnavajo specifično tematiko iz več zornih kotov, oziroma več disciplin. S tem RSC bistveno prispeva k interdisciplinarnemu razumevanju fenomenov v družbi ter prikazuje različne pristope k reševanju in razumevanju le-teh.
Teme RSC se navezujejo na sodobne spremembe, novonastale situacije v globalni, informacijski, multikulturni ter mobilni družbi. Kot takšna, RSC odpira nove teme in s tem nove pristope k raziskovanju družbenih sprememb.
RSC pokriva aktualne teme s področja zgodovine, pedagogike in izobraževanja, migracij in mobilnosti, znanosti in tehnologije (STS), antropologije, ekonomije, političnih znanosti ter drugih aplikativnih področij. Teme, ki jih RSC odpira so nove, relevantne in bodo zato tudi v prihodnosti zagotavljale umeščenost revije v mednarodni prostor.
