Project description:

Inequalities between generations in our society persist. For the first time since the WWII, there is a real risk that today’s young generation will end up less well-off than their parents. Socio-economic exclusion leads to democratic exclusion. Youth struggling with disadvantages are generally not active citizens and have less trust in institutions. They also benefit less from mobility experiences including Erasmus+. Employment is related with Economic Growth and the ability of enterprises to innovate with new products and services, and to achieve global markets. Thus, Entrepreneurship and Innovation skills are very important for higher education students, graduates, and other young people for finding jobs and we want to address this challenge. Consortium created this project to help youth to obtain a better training in terms of entrepreneurship, ICT, and innovation for increasing their open innovation capacities and to improve curriculum of HEIs regarding open innovation.

The objective is to help students to co-create, and co-develop projects proposed by enterprises and other organizations and to accelerate innovative ideas in an international context involving participants from 2 Western Balkan Partner Countries and one EU Programme country (Slovenia). Specific objectives are raising the level of awareness of stakeholders regarding the usefulness of concept of open innovation (for boosting innovative behaviour of youth); developing and implementing curricula/trainings for open innovation, entrepreneurial skills and problem-based learning and increasing capacities of youth leading to open innovations.
