Success Stories of Our Graduates

“The Master’s study gave me much more than just a title. The knowledge from Intercultural Management proved crucial in leading the first residential group for youth with mental difficulties in Slovenia. The study strengthened my ability to understand and manage differences and gave me the confidence for independent work. This is an education that makes a difference in the real world and I would recommend it to anyone.” – Nadja Pahor Bizjak

What do you gain by studying Intercultural Management?

The programme combines managerial skills with an understanding of intercultural differences, global trends, and international cooperation. You will learn how to analyse complex situations, lead projects in culturally diverse environments, and act strategically within international organisations.

The programme enables you to study in a truly intercultural setting — Nova Gorica (SI) – Gorizia (IT) — offering opportunities to engage with cross-border dynamics and international collaboration. In Ljubljana, you will also experience a vibrant intercultural environment, thanks to the large number of international students who study there each year.

You will develop competencies in intercultural communication, leadership in an international context, managing cultural diversity, and effective collaboration within multicultural teams. The curriculum includes contemporary, practice-oriented courses.

The study programme is built on real-life case studies, collaboration with relevant organisations and professionals, and engagement in international projects. This provides students with direct exposure to current professional challenges and equips them comprehensively for work in a globally connected and culturally diverse environment.

The programme is offered in Ljubljana and Nova Gorica and is also available as a part-time programme. Lectures are scheduled with working students in mind, with the added option of partial online participation through the Study+ Support package and consultations in English.

Graduates can be employed in:

  • public administration and EU institutions,
  • international companies and corporations,
  • non-governmental organisations,
  • cultural and development agencies,
  • educational institutions and consulting companies.

The programme prepares you for highly demanding positions where a deep understanding of cultural diversity and knowledge of international processes and dynamics are essential.

The programme is tuition-free even for employed candidates, provided they have not yet completed that level of education, and have not used up to two free enrolments on the same level of studies***. An excellent opportunity for advancement without additional costs.

***This applies to citizens of EU member states as well as citizens of countries with which the Republic of Slovenia has concluded an agreement. These countries are: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Kosovo.

Nova Gorica (Slovenia) and Gorizia (Italy) form a true intercultural crossroads, offering an authentic experience of intercultural cooperation and understanding already during your studies. Ljubljana is increasingly becoming a multicultural urban centre on its own.
