Curriculum Vitae:

I, Livija Rojc Štremfelj, hold a MSc degree in Management of Nonprofit Organizations (Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana).

For 25 years, I have been professionally involved in fundraising for various nonprofit organisations. I have gained experience working in humanitarian, cultural, youth, sports, and educational organisations, both amateur and professional, as well as public and private nonprofit organizations.

I am a certified fundraising executive with CFRE International and Slovenia’s delegate to the European Fundraising Association. I am also a member of the European Research Network on Philanthropy. I have passed the Certification Exams in Education and Public Administration.

I am a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Advanced Social Studies, teaching Nonprofit Management and Fundraising courses. Since 2013, I have lectured the Management of Nonprofit Organizations course at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana, and since 2023, I have also been teaching Business Communication.
I lecture abroad. In 2022, I presented my project, The Playground, at the International Fundraising Congress in the Netherlands and at the CEE Fundraising Conference in Slovakia. In 2023, I was a guest lecturer in Croatia and Lithuania.

As a member of two international associations, I can ensure the quality and level of my knowledge and help many leaders and fundraisers in nonprofit organisations in Slovenia work effectively, ethically, and transparently. Through my connections with fundraising colleagues and sector researchers beyond our borders, I always have access to up-to-date knowledge and insights in nonprofit management and fundraising, which I gladly share with my students.
