Research Ethics Committee (REC) at SASS is a consultative body that promotes or enables ethically responsible research of higher education teachers, researchers and students of all levels of study and all study programs within the Faculty of Applied Social Studies. in Nova Gorica (FUDŠ).
The main objective of REC is to balance different moral perspectives in the process of evaluating a research proposal, including respect for autonomy, protection and the well-being of the research community, researchers and participants.
REC ensures that researchers at SASS, in addition to established methodological standards and applicable regulations, take into account all internationally established moral rules and standards that apply to a particular field of research.
