Curriculum Vitae:

Dejan Jelovac is a tenured professor of organisational sciences and business ethics and former Dean of Faculty of Information Studies, Novo mesto, Slovenia. He holds a master’s degree in philosophy and a doctorate in political sciences. He has extensive media and NGO sector leadership experience as the former Chairman of the Broadcasting Council of the Republic of Slovenia (2006-2017), former CEO of Radio Student Public Institute, Slovenia (1996-2006), former board member at the leading Slovenian newspaper Delo and former CEO of the Institute for Developmental and Strategic Analyses, Slovenia. He began his career in the 1970s as a young researcher at the Faculty of Philosophy, Belgrade, Serbia and assistant professor at the Faculty of Organisational Sciences, University of Belgrade, Serbia. In the 1990s he lectured at the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He also lectured at the GEA College Faculty of Entrepreneurship, Slovenia (1998-2013). He has been a guest lecturer in Denmark, the Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, Germany, Spain, and Serbia. He has appeared at a number of scientific conferences at home and abroad. He has collaborated on many civil society, media and research projects in several disciplines. He has published six books and numerous academic articles in the areas of practical philosophy, organizational sciences, culture and business ethics, and management of intercultural differences.
