Curriculum Vitae:

dr. Pascale Emily Pečnik has a doctorate in humanities and social sciences and a master’s degree in political theory and psychosocial counseling. At the Faculty of Applied Social Studies, he participates in the courses Sociology of Social Policy, Psychology of Work and Organizations, Research Project, Theory and Therapy of Addiction, and Violence and Psychosocial Counseling.
In 2018, she was a youth delegate of the Council of Europe and Youth Information Ambassador of Slovenia, and a year later she was a youth delegate of the World Forum for Democracy. Her innovative idea in the field of human rights, i.e. the human right to be blue, was selected and presented at the European Youth Laboratory of Ideas in Berlin in 2018. In 2020, Schuman was an intern in the European Parliament in the Committee for Culture and Education.
She is the president of the Association for tolerant relations Eksena, where she leads and implements many projects in the field of social welfare, children’s rights and education, such as the project Tolerance is cool, CULREM – Inclusive culture of remembrance and cross-border cooperation in the field of education and performing arts, Children’s rights – from theory into practice, etc.. She also conducts various seminars and workshops for pedagogic and social welfare workers, public institutions, parents and children and adolescents.
