The experience of a FUDŠ student on a BIP mobility in Prague brings practical knowledge for well-being and career success.
How International Exchange in Prague Shapes Future Leaders
Gaining international experience during your studies is not merely a way to diversify your schedule, but a short and intensive step toward exceptional personal and career progress. Participation in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled Stay Human: Self-Awareness, Wellbeing & Connection, which took place in Prague, serves as a prime example of how modern study programs at the School of Advanced Social Studies (FUDŠ) open doors for students into a global environment.
Below, we publish the authentic experience of Saša Kavaš, a 2nd-year Master’s student of Intercultural Management, who outlines the concrete benefits of international mobility.
(BIP) Stay Human: Self-Awareness, Wellbeing & Connection
Prague, 22–26 June 2026
Participating in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Stay Human: Self-Awareness, Wellbeing & Connection was an enriching and highly rewarding experience. The programme focused on topics that are exceptionally relevant both during academic studies and in professional life. Its core themes included self-awareness, mental wellbeing, effective communication, digital balance, and the importance of building meaningful interpersonal relationships.
The online introductory session provided a solid foundation for the topics that were explored in greater depth during the on-site mobility in Prague. The combination of lectures, interactive workshops, and group activities created an engaging environment that encouraged active participation. One of the programme’s greatest strengths was its emphasis on practical application rather than theoretical concepts alone, encouraging participants to evaluate their own habits and learn collaboratively.
Practical Tools for Stress Management and Digital Balance
The sessions covering stress management, mindfulness, and digital wellbeing were particularly valuable. They highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between academic responsibilities and personal wellbeing, as well as recognizing personal limits in a fast-paced environment. Furthermore, the workshops on communication provided practical strategies for improving cooperation within diverse teams—skills that are directly transferable to academic projects and future career environments.
International Environment and Confidence Building for the Future
The international dimension of the programme proved to be one of its most rewarding aspects. Collaborating with students from various countries provided fresh perspectives and deepened cultural awareness. Despite background differences, participants quickly discovered shared challenges and ideas, fostering open-mindedness and broader global thinking.
Beyond academic learning, the mobility contributed significantly to personal growth and professional confidence. Working in an international setting strengthened English communication skills and established a valuable network of contacts across Europe. These hands-on experiences deliver practical competencies that complement traditional classroom learning.
Overall, this mobility programme offered essential tools for balancing study, work, and personal wellbeing, emphasizing authentic human connections in a digitally driven world. The competencies gained through this experience at the School of Advanced Social Studies (SASS) will undoubtedly support future professional success.
