UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES


Application periods for enrollment:

  1. first application period: 20. 2. 2024 – 20. 3. 2024
  2. second application period: 21. 8. 2024 – 27. 8. 2024
  3. deadline for filling vacant enrollment places: if there are still vacant enrollment places at the higher education institution after the end of the second application period, a deadline for filling them will be announced, namely from September 25 to 26, 2024 until 10.00.

Enrolment according to the criteria for transitions (enrolment into a higher year of study) will be specified in the Common Provisions of the 2024/25 call.

For a part of the Psychotherapeutic Propaedeutics study program, the application form for enrollment is submitted via our website at the link (NOT via the eVŠ portal).
* the form is in the Slovenian language. The application form for enrollment has to be signed and sent to referat@fuds.si (you attach also the certificate of prior – highschool – education).

2. ENROLLMENT PROCESS

During the application period, candidates must submit an electronic application form for enrollment via the eVŠ portal for all SASS study programmes (except for Psychotherapy propaedeutics and non-formal education): https://portal.evs.gov.si/prijava/?lang=en

Applications for enrollment and all the required documents for the academic year 2024/2025 at higher education institutions in the Republic of Slovenia, must be submitted electronically via the eVŠ information system. The competent authority of higher education institution is obliged to obtain and verify the documents required for enrollment and admitting an education for the purpose of continuing education, as determined by the regulations that are arranging proofs of the fulfillment of entry conditions and documentation that must be attached to the application for education verification.

All the communication regarding the enrollment procedure shall be conducted only via the eVŠ information system. It is considered that the document is served on the candidate on the second working day after the day of publication of the document into the eVŠ information system.

  • In case of application for the programmes Social Management (BSc), Media and journalism (BA), Intercultural Management (MA) and Media and journalism (MA) you must select PUBLIC HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION AND CONCESSIONS on the first step / first window. In case of an application for all other study programmes you must select PRIVATE HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION.
  • In case of application for FULL / FREE studies, you must select the location NOVA GORICA (you can enroll for “full-time study”  if you have not been enrolled regularly/full time 2 times at this level or you have not completed this level yet).
  • if the candidate is already a FUDŠ graduate and wants to enroll into a new study programme at FUDŠ, there is no need to attach in eVŠ portal the document of prior education as the information is obtained from our own records
  •  

The above enrollment procedure is also considered for foreign candidates. At the same time as applying for enrollment in eVŠ, a foreign candidate also submits an application for nostrification. The eVŠ system asks candidates if they already have nostrification – if they do, they attach it to the application; if they do not have it, an additional field is opened for them, in which they insert data on the education for which they want to be nostrified (the procedure is then done at the faculty). The student office will send you the decision on the recognition of education by e-mail upon invitation to enroll.

CERTIFICATE at registration: an uncertified photocopy of the proof is submitted. However, we advise and recommend that candidates submit certified proof, otherwise the registration process can be considerably delayed due to the inquiry about the authenticity of the document with the issuer of the document.

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR FOREIGNERS:

  • EMŠO (Unique personal identification number)

EMŠO is a personal identification number in the Republic of Slovenia (RS). It is entered in official records and other databases if so prescribed by law, the manager is obliged to state the legal basis.
FUDŠ creates an EMŠO for the student with the purpose of entering the student into the eVŠ system (Record and analytical information system for higher education in the Republic of Slovenia – eVŠ). The notification on the appointment of EMŠO will be sent to you by e-mail after you have already enrolled at the faculty.

  • TAX NUMBER IN SLOVENIA

Students who do not yet have a tax number in the Republic of Slovenia must obtain it from the Financial Office of the Republic of Slovenia and submit it to the student office later.   • SLOVENIAN LANGUAGE

Knowledge of the Slovene language: a certificate of knowledge of the Slovene language is not required for studies at FUDŠ. Due to the earliest possible integration and successful completion of study obligations, it is strongly recommended that you learn the Slovenian language. There are many language courses available – including free ones (eg Center for Slovene as a Second Foreign Language https://centerslo.si/en/)

A) Language of lectures: in case a foreign student is enrolled in the first/second/third year of the study programme, lectures at SASS can usually be organized in the following way: a block of 5 hours of lectures is divided into 4 hours of lectures in Slovene and 5 hours for summaries in English.

4. INFO DAYS 2024

Information days will be organised from February to September 2024 ONLINE via platform Zoom.

5. ENROLLMENT IN THE SENIOR YEAR, GRADUATE INTERNSHIP, REPEAT OF THE YEAR OR RENEWAL OF STATUS 2024/25

It will take place from the end of July to 30 September 2024 via Web Office.

When enrolling in a higher year, for the part-time students the 10% discount on the tuition fee is not calculated and the full-time students have to pay the registration fee (these discounts are intended only for newly enrolled students).
