Ana Hafner works as a researcher at the Rudolfovo – Science and Technology Centre Novo mesto, where she is also the head of the office for knowledge and technology transfer. She is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo mesto. She graduated in sociology – the social informatics program and is a doctor of sociology. She is also a registered trademark and industrial design attorney at the Slovenian Intellectual Property Office. In 2020, she successfully completed her three-year postdoctoral research and development project “Innovation potential of the Slovenian automotive industry” at the Faculty of Information Studies. Before she cooperated with the Association of Slovenian Inventors ASI for ten years, and between 2010 and 2016 she was also a member of the Executive Council of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA).
