Lea Cok, born on June 25, 1995, became a doctoral student in the Strategic Communication program at the Faculty of Applied Social Studies in Ljubljana for the academic year 2022/2023. Prior to this, she completed her master’s degree at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana. The topic of her doctoral dissertation is the impact of words in consumer neuroscience, where she measures respondents’ word preferences in advertising. Concurrently, she explores the phenomenon of distrust in advertising messages, measuring their effectiveness using neurometric and marketing methods. In the academic year 2024/2025, she will be serving as a teaching assistant for the public relations course for the third consecutive year. Lea is also a member of the commission for defending diploma theses and is a person who is interested in various fields and believes in the integration of multiple areas of knowledge, leading to a deeper understanding of the whole.
