The Slovenian Social Science Conference (SSSC), organized by the School of Advanced Social Studies (SASS) since 2009, is a prominent international event that brings together renowned social scientists and emerging researchers worldwide.
The 17th Slovenian Social Science Conference, titled “Is digital transformation a social transformation? Coping with re-emerging social challenges for humanity, ” will occur on October 17 and 18, 2024. This year’s event will be organized in collaboration with the Slovenian National Committee of the UNESCO Management of Social Transformations Program (MOST) and the Slovenian Social Science Association.
The conference will present many valid research on the complex interplay between digital and social change, addressing whether technological advancements drive fundamental societal transformations. Researchers are invited to submit paper proposals that analyze these challenges and contribute to understanding their impacts on humanity.
