Academic seminars

School of Advanced Social Studies aims to foster and sustain the School’s excellent research environment. Academic seminars are delivered by SASS staff members on a wide range of topics. The Academic Seminars provide an opportunity to share, engage with and build upon a research piece, whether at an advanced or final stage of development.

These seminar series have the main aim to disseminate the research work of the SASS researchers to the interested and wider public. By sharing knowledge and ideas in these meetings, the researchers who attend them acquire pointers as to the direction of their future research. At the same time, the meetings offer an opportunity for the participants to form collegial networks among their affiliated institutions, through which joint research that pioneers new domains can be advanced.

Academic seminars – implementation

Each seminar will last approximately an hour and will be chaired by a member of the Faculty’s academic staff. Those who are interested in speaking should notify Assist. prof. Victor Cepoi, Ph.D. (victor.cepoi@fuds.si), who will co-ordinate the events.
