In September 2015, the Faculty of Applied Social Studies successfully applied to the call of the Erasmus program KA1 +
- Learning mobility of individuals: Mobility projects in higher education between the program and the partner countries (KA107).
SASS has previously established a partnership with the American University of Beirut (AUB), Lebanon, the so-called ONE SOUTH group of partner countries.
Based on the agreement signed by the SASS and CMEPIUS Centre for Mobility and European education and training programs, the project was officially started in February 2016. By the end of the project 31 May 2017 will SASS and AUB carried out:
- 5 mobility for the purpose of teaching and training in Slovenia in Lebanon,
- 3 mobility with a view to learning from Lebanon to Slovenia
- 2 student mobility from Lebanon to Slovenia.
America University of Beirut (AUB) is one of the most prestigious universities in Lebanon, in the Middle East and beyond.
AUB, founded in 1866, its educational philosophy, standards and practice leads the American model of liberal higher education system. Educational and research AUB with approximately 800 employees and 8,000 students encourages freedom of thought and expression, creative and critical thinking, lifelong learning, individual freedom and social responsibility.
The university AUB has included six faculties: Faculty of agrikulturo and food science, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Faculty of Medicine (which includes the Rafic Hariri School of Midwifery) and the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business. SASS cooperates with the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
